Bakalaura darba nosaukums ir „Sociālie pakalpojumi cilvēkiem ar atmiņas traucējumiem.”
Pētījuma mērķis ir teorētiski izanalizēt un praktiski izpētīt kādus sociālos pakalpojumus piedāvā pansionāti, dienas centri veciem cilvēkiem, kuriem ir atmiņas traucējumi, kā tiek ievērota uz pierādījumiem balstītas prakses pieeja.
Autore teorētiski izpētīja, kādi ir sociālie pakalpojumi veciem cilvēkiem, kuriem ir atmiņas traucējumi, vai piedāvātie pakalpojumi atbilst veca cilvēka vajadzībām, kuriem ir atmiņas traucējumi un kā piedāvātie pakalpojumi nodrošina atbalstu tuvākiem cilvēkiem, kuriem radinieks cieš no atmiņas traucējumiem. Pētījuma ietvaros tika veikta sociālā darba speciālistu un vecu cilvēku ar atmiņas traucējumiem tuvinieku intervijas un to analīze.

The aim of the research is to make a theoretical analysis and find out practically the social services which are provided for elderly people with dementia by pensions or social centers and whether there is given a practical assistance as well.
The author has investigated social services for people with dementia , has made inquires whether those services are in keeping with people’s needs if they have a dementia and how offered services provide encouragement for relatives whose kinsman suffer from a dementia. The research includes the interview with old people having a dementia and the analysis from the social support specialists.
