Bibliotēkas atspoguļojums Latvijas preses izdevumos 2005. un 2006.gadā

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā „Bibliotēkas atspoguļojums Latvijas preses izdevumos 2005. un 2006. gadā”, pamatojoties uz bibliotēku nozares pārstāvju bažām par profesijas prestižu un bibliotēkas tēlu mūsdienu sabiedrībā, apskatīta masu mediju, īpaši preses izdevumu, ietekme uz bibliotēkas tēla veidošanās procesu. Iztirzāta sabiedrisko attiecību loma bibliotēkas kā organizācijas sekmīgā pastāvēšanā un attīstībā. Izstrādātajā bakalaura darbā pirmo reizi Latvijā plašāk aplūkots bibliotēkas atainojums populārāko preses izdevumu tiražētajā skatījumā, vērtēta publikācijās paustā attieksme attiecībā uz bibliotēku un analizēta publikāciju autoru profesionālā piederība. Pētījums sniedz ieskatu 12 populārāko Latvijas žurnālu un avīžu publikācijās, kurās no dažādiem aspektiem iztirzātas jaunākās bibliotēku nozares aktualitātes 2005. un 2006. gadā.

Responding on the existing concern about the prestige and importance of the library image in modern society the Bachelor paper “Reflection of a Library in Latvian Periodicals in 2005 and 2006” considers the influence of the mass media, especially of the press, according to the growth of the library image. The role of public relations as the key to success and development of a library is discussed in the research, as well. The reflection of the library from the attitude in press publications and the professional membership of the publication’s author is widely viewed and analyzed for the first time in relation to previous Latvian librarianship studies. The research reflects the view of 12 most popular Latvian newspapers and magazines about the current events in the librarianship in year 2005 and 2006.
