Abstract

Diplomdarba „11. klases skolēnu interpunkcijas prasmes pilnveide latviešu valodas stundās” mērķis ir pilnīgot un nostiprināt interpunkcijas prasmes vispārējās vidējās izglītības mācību iestādē 11. klasē. Diplomdarbs sastāv no ievada, piecām nodaļām ar apakšnodaļām, secinājumiem un pielikumiem. Pirmajā nodaļā ir izpētīts teorētiskais materiāls par interpunkcijas principiem un problēmām mūsdienu skolēnu rakstu valodā. Otrajā nodaļā ir atspoguļota lingvodidaktiķu pieredze un ieteikumi skolotājam, lai pilnveidotu un attīstītu skolēnu interpunkcijas prasmes latviešu valodas stundās. Trešajā nodaļā tiek apkopota informācija, kas iegūta sarunā ar skolotājām, skolēnu anketās un diagnosticējošajos darbos. Šo informāciju mērķis ir gūt priekšstatu par skolēnu interpunkcijas prasmēm un iespējām tās uzlabot. Ceturtajā nodaļā tiek atspoguļota praksē aprobēto stundu norise. Piektajā nodaļā tiek aprakstīta skolotāja un skolēnu sadarbības rezultātu analīze un izvērtējums. Pielikumā pievienoti metodiskie materiāli, tabulas par skolēnu diagnosticējošo darbu rezultātiem, kā arī skolotājas veidotās Power Point prezentācijas. Diplomdarba ietvaros veidotais materiāls ir sekmīgi aprobēts 11.klasē. Diplomande uzskata, ka pedagoģiskās prakses laikā skolēnu interpunkcijas prasmes ir uzlabojušās, jo darba autore ir tām pievērsusi īpašu uzmanību un ņēmusi vērā tos interpunkcijas aspektus, kas skolēniem radīja grūtības.

The aim of the diploma paper “Improving Students` Punctuation Skills in Latvian Language Lessons in Grade 11” is to develop and strengthen punctuation skills in the 11th grade of an institution of general secondary education. The paper consists of an introduction, five chapters with sub-chapters, conclusions and appendixes. Chapter one examines the theoretical material regarding principles of punctuation and issues in the written language of modern day students. Chapter two includes a reflection of the experience of linguo-didactics specialists, as well as suggestions to teachers for improving and developing student punctuation skills in Latvian language classes. Chapter three summarises the information obtained from discussions with teachers, student surveys and diagnostics tasks. With this information it is possible to acquire a notion regarding the punctuation skills of students and possibilities to improve them. Chapter four provides information on the classes approbated in practice. Chapter five consists of an analysis and evaluation of the results regarding the cooperation between the teacher and the students. The appendix includes examples of student works, tables with information on the results of students’ diagnostics tests and summary tables with punctuation regularities. The material developed within the framework of the paper has been successfully approbated in the 11th grade. The author of the paper believes that the punctuation skills of the students have improved during the pedagogical practice, since the author paid special attention to them and considered the punctuation aspects that proved to be problematic for the students.
