Autentiskie materiāli vārdu krājuma uzlabošanai 10. klasē angļu valodas stundās

Abstract

This Paper was written to research authentic materials for enriching students’ vocabulary because of the influence of the English language nowadays. As English is an international language, students need to acquire vocabulary to be able to communicate in different life situations by using the English language. The author explored theory about learning vocabulary and how authentic materials are used for teaching another language. After researching various author works, empirical part of the Paper was done. Authentic materials were used to create activities for English language lessons which were presented to students of form 10 during the authors teaching practice, which took place in Tukums Rainis Gymnasium, to help learners acquire the necessary vocabulary through the designed activities. After the teaching practise, a questionnaire was given to the students to find out their opinion about the activities based on authentic materials. Two English teachers were later interviewed where they were asked to share their experience with teaching vocabulary and using other materials than course books. It was concluded that authentic materials could be used could be used in the English language classroom to practice new vocabulary items and in that way be able to use the specific items later.

Šis darbs tika veikts, lai pētītu autentiskos materiālus vārdu krājuma uzlabošanai, dēļ angļu valodas ietekmes mūsdienās. Ņemot vērā to, ka internacionālā ir angļu valoda, skolēniem ir nepieciešams apgūt vārdu krājumu, lai būtu spējīgi sazinātie dažādās dzīves situācijās, lietojot angļu valodu. Autors izpētīja teoriju saistībā ar vārdu krājuma apgūšanu un kā autentiskie materiāli tiek lietoti, lai mācītu citu valodu. Pēc dažādu autoru darbu pētīšanas, darba praktiskā daļa tika veikta. Autentiskie materiāli tika izmantoti, lai izveidotu aktivitātes priekš angļu valodas stundām, kuras tika pezentētas 10. klases skolēniem mācīšanas prakses laikā, kura norisinājās Tukuma Raiņa ģimnāzijā, lai palīdzētu skolēniem apgūt nepieciešamo vārdu krājumu ar izveidoto aktivitāšu palīdzību. Pēc skolotāja prakses skolēniem bija lūgts izpildīt anketu, lai uzzinātu viņu viedokli par aktivitātēm, kas ir balstītas uz autentiskajiem materiāliem. Vēlāk divas angļu valodas skolotājas tika nointervētas un lūgtas dalīties ar savu pieredzi saistībā ar vārdu krājuma mācīšanu un papildus materiālu izmantošanu neskaitot mācību grāmatu. Tika secināts tas, ka autentiskie materiāli var tikt lietoti angļu valodas klasē, lai praktizētu jauno vārdu izmantošanu un tādā veidā būt spējīgi konkrētos vārdus izmantot vēlāk.
