The aim of the paper was to examine the relationship between the frequency of physical activity, eating attitude, BMI and body image perception between men and women samples. . The sample consisted of 570 respondents at the age of 18-50: 279 women and 291 men who were divided into four subgroups, depending on the frequency of physical activity. There were used three research methods: Eating Attitude Test (Garner & Garfinkel, 1979), Figure Rating Scale (Collins, 1991), Body Mass Index (Keys, 1972). The research results show that for both women's samples were found statistically significant positive relationship between BMI and dieting scale, BMI and body perception, dieting behavior and body perception, bulimic behavior and body perception. For both male groups was found a positive correlation between BMI and dieting scale. Only for men sample there was found positive correlation between the frequency of physical activity and dieting scale and negative correlation between the frequency of physical activity and body perception.
