Microsoft Word formāta pārskatu veidošana Lotus Notes lietotnei

Abstract

Lotus Notes lietotnē, kas paredzēta organizācijā reģistrēto projektu koordinēšanai, dati tiek eksportēti uz Microsoft Word dokumentiem. Eksportēti tiek arī dati no bagātinātā teksta laukiem, kuros var saglabāt formatētu tekstu, kā arī tabulas. Šobrīd lietotnē ir iespējams veidot Microsoft Word formāta pārskatus, taču šī funkcionalitāte strādā tikai datoriem, kuriem ir Windows operētājsistēma. Macintosh un Linux operētājsistēmu lietotājiem šī funkcionalitāte nestrādā. Darba mērķis ir izstrādāt analogu funkcionalitāti esošajai, kas darbosies arī citās operētājsistēmās, ne tikai Windows vidē. Lai to izdarītu, jāizpēta iespējamās alternatīvas un jāizvēlas piemērotākā no tām. Darba rezultātā ir izpētīti un aprakstīti iespējamie problēmas risinājuma varianti, kā arī izvēlētais variants ir realizēts.

In a Lotus Notes application, designed to coordinate projects registered in the organization, data is exported to Microsoft Word documents. Data from rich text fields, where formatted text and tables can be stored are also being exported. At the present moment it is possible to create Microsoft Word reports, however this functionality works only in Windows operating system. Users with Macintosh or Linux operating system are not able to create these reports. The goal is to develop such functionality that can create the same kind of Microsoft Word reports, that also works in other operating systems, not only Windows. The possible alternatives should be studied and the most suitable of them should be chosen. The result is the study and description of the possible problem solving options, and also the implementation of the chosen solution.
