Transatlantiskā tirdzniecības un investīciju partnerības līguma ietekme uz Eiropas Savienības un Latvijas ekonomiku attīstību

Abstract

Bakalaura darbs “Transatlantiskā tirdzniecības un investīciju partnerības līguma ietekme uz Eiropas Savienības un Latvijas ekonomiku attīstību” pēta TTIP potenciālo ieguvumu un risku attiecību ES un Latvijas ekonomiskajā attīstībā. Bakalaura darbā veikta teorijas par ekonomisko integrāciju un brīvajiem tirdzniecības līgumiem izpēte, ES un ASV ekonomisko attiecību, šobrīd pastāvošo tirdzniecības barjeru un paredzētās tirdzniecības liberalizācijas un investoru aizsardzības TTIP ietvaros analīze un līdzšinējo TTIP ietekmes pētījumu salīdzinājums, uzsverot līdzības un atšķirības, un tādējādi apkopojot nozīmīgākos potenciālos ieguvumus un riskus ES un Latvijas ekonomiku attīstībā pēc līguma noslēgšanas, īpašu uzmanību pievēršot to proporcionalitātei Latvijā salīdzinājumā ar citām ES dalībvalstīm. Darbā ir 107 lappuses, 14 attēli, 11 tabulas un 11 pielikumi, un izmantoti 134 literatūras avoti.

Bachelor's thesis “The Impact of the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership on the Economic Development of European Union and Latvia” does a research on the potential benefit and risk ratio created by the T-TIP in the economic development of EU and Latvia. The thesis reviews literature on the theory of economic integration and free trade agreements, analyzes the development of the EU and US economic relationship, current transatlantic trade barriers and the anticipated trade liberalization and investment protection framework in the T-TIP. Furthermore, a comparative study of existing T-TIP impact assessments follows, emphasizing major similarities and differences and summarizing the most significant potential benefits and risks in the economic development of EU and Latvia after the agreement is concluded. Distinct attention is paid to the proportionality of the potential benefits and risks in Latvia in contrast to the rest of the EU member countries. The thesis contains 107 pages, 14 images, 11 charts and 11 annexes. 134 literature information sources have been used in the paper.
