Bakalaura darbs sastāv no 3 nodaļām. Pirmajā nodaļā teorētiski apskatīti gaismas piesārņojuma veidi un avoti, izklāstīts vispārīgs gaismas piesārņojuma raksturojums, izmantojamo metožu izklāsts, ietekmes raksturojums, normatīvie akti un likumdošana. Otrajā daļā aprakstītas pētījumā izmantotās metodes un materiāli. Trešā nodaļa atspoguļo rezultātus un to analīzi.
