Katra domēna komunikatīvie mērķi atšķiras, tādēļ atšķiras arī to hierarhiskās attiecības. Turklāt pētījums atklāj vajadzību pēc skaidrākas intertekstualitātes veidu adaptācijas modernajam Interneta diskursam. Corporate websites, chosen in banking and financial sector, form a significant part of business and organizational discourse, where different domains exist and are related through the concept of intertextuality.
The goal of this Bachelor paper is to investigate the documents found in customer service and legal domains on twenty websites and analyse them hierarchically and according to seven different types of intertextuality.
Discourse analysis of twenty websites shows that all seven types of intertextuality can be found in legal domain, whereas six types of intertextuality – in customer service domain. However, the communicative aim of each domain differs, so does the hierarchical relationships. Moreover, the research reveals the need for a more certain adaptation of intertextuality types to the modern discourse of World Wide Web.
