Humora tulkošana no angļu valodas spāņu valodā. "Lielā sprādziena teorijas" piemērs

Abstract

Šis maģisra darbs ir vēltīts humora tulkošanas tēmai. Pētījuma mērķis ir izvērtēt humora tulkošanu no angļu valodas spāņu valodā, par piemēru ņemot televīzijas seriālu “Lielā sprādziena teorija” (2007). Lai to paveiktu, tika izvēlēti, klasificēti un aprakstīti astoņdesmit piemēri no iepriekš minētā seriāla pirmās sezonas gan angļu, gan spāņu valodā. Darbs veikts, izmantojot kvaliatīvo izpētes metodi, galvenokārt balstoties un salīdzinošo analīzi. Iegūtie rezultāti norāda, ka, neskatoties uz to, ka humora tulkošana ir sarežģīta, lielākā daļa analizēto humoristisko situāciju nav cietušas tipoloģiskas izmaiņas, tāpat kā nav zaudējušas humoristisko intensivitāti. Līdz ar to, pētījuma veikšanai izmantotā televīzijas seriāla tulkojuma kvalitāte vērtējama kā pozitīva. Šis darbs var būt noderīgs gan lingvistiem, gan tulkiem un tulkotājiem.

This paper is dedicated to investigate the difficulty of translation of humor. The research has the goal to evaluate the translation of humor, as an example using the first season of the television series “The Big Bang Theory” (2007). To achieve the desired result, eighty examples of different jokes of the first season have been compiled, classified and described. The method that the investigation is based on is mostly comparative analysis. The results of the investigation have demonstrated, that even though the translation of humor is complicated, the majority of jokes analyzed have not been suffering any typological damage, nor lost the humorous load. Thus, the evaluation of the translation of the first season of the series is considered being positive. This research can be useful for linguists and also translators.
