Abstract

Maģistra darbs ir veltīts jautājumam par privātos uzņēmumos strādājošo tulkotāju sadarbību ar nozares speciālistiem tehnisko tekstu tulkošanas laikā. Darbs sastāv no četrām nodaļām. Pirmajā un otrajā nodaļā autore analizē zinātnisko literatūru, kas veltīta tehniskajam tulkojumam, terminoloģijai, kā arī cilvēkresursu nozīmei tulkošanā. Trešā nodaļa satur trīs tehnisko tekstu analīzi no terminu tulkošanas problēmu viedokļa. Ceturtajā nodaļā darba autore apkopo un analizē štata tulkotāju aptaujas rezultātus, kas veikta ar mērķi noskaidrot viņu viedokli par iespēju sadarboties ar nozares speciālistiem. Darbs satur abreviatūru sarakstu, ievadu, četras nodaļas, galvenās tēzes, izmantotās literatūras sarakstu, kas sastāv no 28 avotiem, un 5 pielikumus.

The present master thesis is devoted to the topic of cooperation between in-house translators and field experts during technical translation. The paper consists of four chapters. Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 contain the analysis of the theoretical studies dedicated to technical translation, terminology, and role of human resourced in translation. Chapter 3 offers the analysis of three technical texts from the perspective of terminology translation problems the in-house translator has encountered. In Chapter 4 the author summarises and analyses the results of the survey addressed to in-house translator in order to find out their opinion with regard to the idea of cooperation with field experts. The paper consists of a list of abbreviations and acronyms, an introduction, four chapters, main theses, a list of references, which includes 28 entries, and 5 appendices
