Vardarbības un nozieguma reprezentācija “Millennium” triloģijas Holivudas un Zviedrijas ekranizācijās

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā pētītā problēma ir vardarbības un nozieguma reprezentācija “Millennium” triloģijas Holivudas un Zviedrijas ekranizācijās. Teorētiskajā daļā ir apskatīta filma kā masu medijs, vardarbības un nozieguma reprezentācija filmās, kino valoda, ir dots Stīga Lārsona “Millennium” triloģijas īss raksturojums un ir aprakstīta režisoru Deivida Finčera, Nilsa Ardena Opleva un Daniela Alfredsona darbu specifika. Metodoloģijas daļā ir aprakstītas pētījuma metodes – kvalitatīvā kontentanalīze un fokusgrupas diskusija. Empīriskajā daļā ir analizēta vardarbības un nozieguma reprezentācija “Millennium” triloģijas ekranizācijās, izmantojot kvalitatīvās kontentanalīzes un fokusgrupas diskusijas metodi. Darba mērķis ir saprast kā vardarbība un noziegums tiek reprezentēti “Millennium” triloģijas Holivudas un Zviedrijas ekranizācijās.

The bachelor’s thesis studies the problem of representation of violence and crime in Hollywood and Swedish adaptations of “Millennium” trilogy. The theoretical part examines the following issues: film as a mass medium, the representation of violence and crime in films, cinema language, a brief description of Stieg Larsson’s “Millennium” trilogy is provided and characteristics of directors David Fincher, Niels Arden Oplev and Daniel Alfredson are presented. The methodological part describes the research methods – qualitative content analysis and focus group discussion. In the empirical part there is analyzed the representation of violence and crime in the “Millennium” trilogy adaptations. The aim is to understand how violence and crime are represented in the “Millennium” trilogy Hollywood and Swedish adaptations.
