Aborta un tā ierobežojuma rāmējums interneta ziņu portālos diena.lv, nra.lv un la.lv (2012.-2015.)

Abstract

Bakalaura darba ‘’Aborta un tā ierobežojuma rāmējums interneta ziņu portālos diena.lv, nra.lv un la.lv (2012.-2015.)’’ pētāmā problēma ir aborta un tā ierobežojuma rāmējuma specifika. Izmantojot kvalitatīvo un kvantitatīvo kontentanalīzi kā pētniecības metodes, veikts pētījums un izdarīti secinājumi par izvirzīto pētāmo problēmu un rastas atbildes uz pētnieciskajiem jautājumiem. Darbā analizētajos Latvijas nacionālo dienas laikrakstu interneta ziņu portālos diena.lv, nra.lv un la.lv aborta un tā ierobežojuma analīzes gadījumā izgūti trīs galvenie rāmējumi: liberālais, konservatīvais un neitrālais, kas veido katra medija attieksmi šī jautājuma atveidošanā auditorijai. Liberālās nostājas pozīcija norāda uz sieviešu tiesību ierobežošanu, pamatojoties, ka valsts nevar iejaukties sievietes tiesībās uz viņas ķermeni, konservatīvais rāmējums iestājas par ģimenisku vērtību saglabāšanu un potenciālā bērna tiesībām uz dzīvību, savukārt neitrālais rāmējums pilda informatīvu lomu, neuzsverot noteiktu viedokli. Darba teorētiskajā daļā apskatītas teorijas par aborta tiesisko un ētisko aspektu, interneta mediju lomu jutīgo tematu atspoguļošanā, kā arī aplūkotas ziņu rāmējuma veidošanās procesa īpatnības. Kopumā bakalaura darbā analizētas 106 publikācijas.

The research question of the Bachelor’s thesis ‘’Framing of abortion and abortion restrictions on news websites diena.lv, nra.lv and la.lv (2012-2015)’’ is abortion and the specific character of its framing. The study was carried out, the answers to research question gathered and the conclusions were drawn by using qualitative and quantitative content analysis as the research method. The analysis of abortion and its framing in the national daily newspaper online websites studied in the research paper diena.lv, nra.lv and la.lv revealed three main types of framing: liberal, conservative and neutral, creating the attitude of each mass media presenting the particular topic to the public. Liberal position points out the restrictions of women’s rights, claiming that the state cannot interfere in the privacy of woman’s body. Conservative framing advocates the family values and the potential child’s rights of life. Whereas neutral framing plays informative role without displaying particular opinion on the issue. In the theoretical part of the Bachelor’s theses the theories of legal and ethical aspects of abortion are examined, as well as the role of online mass media in displaying sensitive topics is explored and the specifics of the development of news framing studied. There are 106 publications altogether analysed in the Bachelor’s theses.
