Diplomdarba tēma- Augusta Deglava romāns „Rīga” kā mācību materiāls kulturoloģijas stundās vidusskolā. Darba mērķis- izpētīt, kā veicināt skolēnu kultūridentitātes apzināšanos, izmantojot Augusta Deglava romānu „Rīga” kā mācību materiālu kulturoloģijas stundās vidusskolā mācību tēmai par latviešu nācijas veidošanos 19.gs. 2. pusē. Lai mērķi īstenotu, temata apguvei izstrādāts mācību plāns 5 stundām un uzdevumu kopa.
Skolēniem tiek sniegta iespēja iepazīties ar Rīgas kultūru un sadzīvi un latviešu nācijas veidošanās procesu 19.gs. 2.p. Apgūstot mācību tēmu, tiek veicināta skolēnu kultūridentitātes apzināšanās, kā arī spēja salīdzināt, analizēt un vērtēt kultūras sasniegumus, liecības un informatīvos avotus. Darba autore secinājusi, ka Augusta Deglava romānu „Rīga” ir ieteicams izmantot kā mācību materiālu kulturoloģijas stundās vidusskolā The subject of this diploma work is called ‘Using August’s Deglav’s novel "Rīga" in Culturology Lessons in Secondary School”. The object of this diploma work is to investigate in what kind of way it is possible to use August’s Deglav’s novel "Rīga" in Culturology lessons in Secondary School as study material about the formation of the Latvian nation during the second half of the 20th century and promoting the awareness in school of culture identity.
In order to achieve the object of this research a study plan for 5 lessons and assignments together has been made. By learning this study material pupils may become aware of their cultural identity as well as the ability to to compare, to analize and to estimate the achievements and evidence of culture and the source of information.
