| dc.description.abstract | Darbā tiek aprakstīti izmantotākie attēlu saspiešanas algoritmi un failu formāti, kas satur dažādos saspiešanas algoritmu kombinācijas. Gan algoritmi, gan attēlu formāti tiek salīdzināti savā starpā ar dažādiem kritērijiem bezzudumu un zudumu algoritmiem. Salīdzināšanai tiek izmantotas autora rakstītas algoritmu realizācijas MATLAB valodā un attēlu apstrādes programma attēlu formātu veidošanā. Tiek veikti secinājumi par algoritmu efektivitāti – ātrdarbību, saspiešanas spējām un attēla kvalitātes izmaiņām. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | The paper summarises the most used image compression algorithms and the file formats that implement and use them. Both the algorithms and the image formats are compared between themselves with different criteria for lossless and lossy methods. MATLAB functions, written by the author, are used to compare the algorithms and an image processing software is used to create image file formats. Image compression methods are compared by their effectiveness – compression time, ratio and the quality of the compressed image. | en_US |
