Abstract

Bakalaura darbs „Konkurētspējas novērtēšana Ventspils Brīvostā”. Ventspils Brīvosta ieņem ļoti nozīmīgu lomu Latvijas kopējā tranzīta nozarē, jo tā „paver vārtus” uz rietumiem un caur to notiek aktīva kravu kustība un tirdzniecība. Tai ir svarīga nozīme no sociāli ekonomiskā viedokļa, jo osta nodrošina vidi uzņēmējdarbībai un darbavietu radīšanai. Ostas ekonomiskā un saimnieciskā darbība dod ieguldījumu reģiona ilgtermiņa attīstībā un investīciju piesaistē. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir, ņemot vērā Ventspils Brīvostas saimnieciskās darbības datus un pielietojot pieejamos informācijas avotus, novērtēt Ventspils Brīvostas konkurētspēju un prognozēt konkurētspējas palielināšanas veidus, tādējādi nosakot kopējo ieguldījumu Latvijas transporta nozarē un ekonomikā kopumā. Bakalaura darbs sastāv no 3 daļām. Pirmajā daļā tiek aplūkota konkurences būtība, konkurētspējas nozīme uzņēmējdarbībā un konkurētspējīgo priekšrocību loma uzņēmuma darbībā. Otrajā darba daļā tiek raksturota tranzīta un loģistikas nozare, izvērtēta pēc Portera modeļa un raksturota Ventspils Brīvosta. Trešajā darba daļā tiek vērtēta Ventspils Brīvostas konkurētspēja, analizējot konkurentu informāciju un veicot salīdzināšanu, pielietota SVID analīze, kā arī sniegti konkurētspējas veidošanas un paaugstināšanas veidi. Ventspils Free Port has a very important role in the total Latvian transit industry because of its "gateways" to the west and through it there is an active movement of goods and trade. It plays an important role in the social-economic point of view, since the port provides an environment for entrepreneurship and job creation. Port economic and financial activities contribute to the region's long-term development and investment attraction. Bachelor's work is in the light of the Ventspils Free Port of economic activity data and using competitive assessment methods to assess the competitiveness of Ventspils Free Port and predict ways of increasing competitiveness, thereby determining the total Latvian investment in the transport sector and the economy as a whole. Bachelor thesis consists of 3 parts. The first part deals with the competitive nature of the competitive importance of business and competitive advantage of the company's role in the operation. In the second part of the work is described in transit and logistics sector, as well as Ventspils Free Port and and used Porter’s model. The third part of the work is evaluated Ventspils Free Port's competitiveness by comparing with competitors, as well as types of providing and increasing the ways of competitiveness.
