Transporta un uzglabāšanas nozares ģeogrāfiskā koncentrācija un attīstības potenciāls Latvijā

Abstract

Maģistra darba „Transporta un uzglabāšanas nozares ģeogrāfiskā koncentrācija un attīstības potenciāls Latvijā” mērķis ir reģionālās izaugsmes potenciāla palielināšanas iespēju pētījums, balstoties uz transporta un uzglabāšanas nozares aglomerāciju attīstību. Pētījuma rezultātā pēc absolūtās un relatīvās koncentrācijas metodes identificētas divas transporta un uzglabāšanas nozarē aglomerētās teritorijas – Rēzeknes pilsēta un novads, kā arī Ventspils pilsēta. Reģionālās attīstības potenciāla īstenošanai no pētījuma izriet, ka šajās teritorijās jāattīsta loģistikas vai distribūcijas centri.

The goal of the master’s thesis „Transport and storage industry geographic concentration and development potential in Latvia” is research of regional growth potential advancement opportunities, based on the development of transport and storage industry agglomeration. As the result of the research two transport and storage industry employment concentration areas were identified: Rezekne city and county, and Ventspils city. The study shows that logistics or distribution centers should be developed in these areas for realization of regional development potential.
