Polders Ķūļciema meliorācijas ainavā

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā "Polderis Ķūļciema meliorācijas ainavā" ir aplūkotas ainavas izmaiņas Ķūļciema apkārtnē, kas notikušas meliorācijas ietekmē. Darbs uzskatāmi parāda, ka polderis ir nozīmīga sastāvdaļa vietējā ainavā. Meliorācija ir viens no nozīmīgākajiem mūsdienu ainavas veidotājiem Latvijā un bakalaura darbā ir izsekots ainavas veidošanās posmiem, kas saistāmi ar zemju nosusināšanu - sākot ar Engures ezera ūdens līmeņa pazemināšanu, līdz pat poldera izbūvei un aktuālākajiem procesiem mūsdienu ainavā. Darbs ir sastāv no četrām nodaļām, kas aptver literatūras studijas par ainavas izpēti un meliorācijas nozīmi tajā, izseko ainavas izmaiņām vairāk kā 150 gadu garumā un apkopo vietējo iedzīvotāju attieksmi pret poldera nozīmi vietējā ainavā.

Bachelor's thesis "Polder in the Ķūļciems amelioration landscape" examines landscape change in surroundings of Ķūļciems, which were brought by land reclamation projects. Thesis demonstrates important role of polder in local landscape. Land amelioration is one of the most important processes of contemporary landscape creation. Thesis follows stages of creation of contemporary Ķūļciems landscape beginning with lowering of the water table of Lake Engure, till construction of polder and current landscape processes. Bachelor's thesis consists of four chapters which include review of scientific publications on landscape studies, land reclamation and polders, materials and methods, historical landscape study and summarizes local inhabitants opinion on polder role in local landscape.
