Zusammenfassung
Autore savā bakalaura darbā ir pētījusi legāta institūtu, tā vietu un ietekmi mantojuma tiesībās, izvirzījusi un piedāvājusi pastāvošo problēmjautājumu risinājuma koncepciju.
Pētījuma gaitā autore analizēja pastāvošo situāciju Civillikuma Mantojuma tiesību daļas regulējumā gan attiecība uz legātiem, gan kopsakarā ar citiem tiesību institūtiem, piemēram, neatņemamās daļas tiesīgie, mantinieki, mantojuma atstājēja kreditori. Apskatīts legāta institūts, arī no vēsturiskā aspekta nolūkā veicināt izpratni par tā attīstību un izmaiņām laika gaitā.
Pētījuma rezultātā autore piedāvā iespējamos veidus kā atrisināt pastāvošās būtiskākās problēmas, kuras sastopamas šī brīža regulējumā, vienlaikus veicot arī Civillikuma normu par legātiem modernizāciju.

Author analyzed the current situation of Civil Law Heritance Section not only in aspect of the legate institute, but also in conjunction with other legal institutes, such as non-rejectable heirs, heirs, the deceased's creditors rights. The author studied legate institute also from the historical perspective in order to facilitate understanding of its development and changes over time.
As the result of research author suggests possible ways that could likely solve existing problems, which occur in the current regulation, while achieving Civil Law Heritance Sections modernization.
