Abstract

Irānas un Izraēlas attiecības periodā pēc Aukstā kara ir nozīmīgi veicinājušas ne tikai savstarpējo, bet arī reģionālo un starptautisko nedrošību. Nedrošība anarhiskā starptautiskā sistēmā veicina drošības dilemmas attīstību valstu attiecībās. Drošības dilemma koncepts ir ne tikai viens no centrālajiem konceptiem starptautisko attiecību teorijā un praksē, kas skaidro starpvalstu attiecību dinamiku no anarhijas līdz karam, bet tā analīze ir būtiska arī drošības vides novērtēšanai, skaidrošanai un risinājumu meklēšanai nedrošības samazināšanai un miera nodrošināšanai. Maģistra darba „Iespējas un izaicinājumi drošības dilemmas pārvarēšanai: Irānas un Izraēlas attiecības pēc 2012. gada” mērķis ir analizēt iespējas drošības dilemmas dinamikas samazināšanai Irānas un Izraēlas attiecībās pēc 2012. gada.

Iranian – Israeli relations have caused mutual regional and international uncertainty during the post-Cold War period. Uncertainty in an anarchic international system contributes to the development of the security dilemma within the interstate relations. The concept of security dilemma is not only one of the central concepts in the theory and practice of international relations, which explains the dynamic of interstate relations between anarchy and war, but it is also relevant for the assessment of the security environment. The objective of the master's thesis "Challenges and opportunities for the security dilemma mitigation: the Iranian and Israeli relations after 2012." is to analyse the possible security dilemma mitigation scenarios and reduction of the security dilemma dynamics in Iranian – Israeli relations.
