E-resursu repozitoriji Latvijas lielākajās augstskolās: repozitorija pārvaldības politika

Abstract

E-repozitoriju pārvaldības politika pagaidām ir maz pētīta Latvijā un citur pasaulē, taču tas ir svarīgs aspekts repozitorija nepārtrauktas un ilgstošas darbības nodrošināšanā. Bakalaura darbā uzmanība tiek pievērsta lielāko Latvijas universitāšu e-repozitoriju pārvaldības politikai un tās izstrādes aspektiem. Ir problemātiski noteikt vienotus pārvaldes principus visiem elektroniskajiem repozitorijiem, jo tie atšķiras atkarībā no atbildīgās institūcijas mērķiem. Risinot problēmsituāciju, tiek pētīts, kādi nosacījumi ir jāievēro, veidojot repozitorija pārvaldības politiku un kādi ir Latvijas lielāko universitāšu e-repozitoriju pārvaldības politikas izveides aspekti. Bakalaura darba teorētiskā bāze ir Trīs līmeņu digitālās saglabāšanas koncepts, kas tiek izmantots valsts pārvaldes darbībā digitālo dokumentu radīšanā un saglabāšanā. Bakalaura darbā ir izmantotas kvalitatīvās datu vākšanas metodes – intervija un e-repozitoriju pārvaldības politikas dokumentu kontentanalīze. Bakalaura darba pētījuma rezultātus varētu izmantot kā labas prakses paraugu jaunu e-repozitoriju politikas veidošanas gadījumos un, jau esošo bakalaura darbā minēto e-repozitoriju, pārvaldības politikas dokumentu papildināšanā vai uzlabošanā.

Management policy of e-repository is not a widely researched theme in Latvia or the rest of the world but it is an important aspect in ensuring of the repository continuous and prolonged workflow. This thesis focuses on the largest Latvian university e-repository management policy and its development aspects. It is difficult to establish joint administrative principles for all electronic repositories because they are differentiated depending on the institution objectives. Addressing the problem this research investigates what kind of conditions must be considered when creating repository management policies and what are the largest Latvian university e-repository management policy development aspects. The theoretical framework of this bachelor thesis is based on Three level digital preservation concept that is used in public administration digital document creation and preservation. In this bachelor thesis qualitative data collection techniques has been used - interview and e-repository management policy document content analysis. Results of this study could be used as an example of good practice for new e-repository policy-making cases and supplementing or improving the existing work of the e-repository management policy documents.
