Abstract

Maģistra darba temats ir “Vītolu dzimta un māja mutvārdu vēstures liecībās un dokumentos”. Vītolu dzimta un tai piederošā māja līdz šim nav tikusi pētīta, tāpēc pētījuma mērķis ir iegūt un apkopot informāciju, veicot mutvārdu intervijas un analizējot pieejamās dokumentālās liecības (fotogrāfijas, dokumentus, pierakstus un publikācijas). Pētījums balstās uz Sociālā konstrukcionisma teoriju un biogrāfisko pieeju. Rezultātā ir tapis pētījums, kurā atklāta unikāla informācija par Vītolu dzimtu un māju, kā arī iegūtas piecas vērtīgas mutvārdu vēstures intervijas no zinošiem piedzīvotā laika lieciniekiem. Darbs būs noderīgs informācijas avots ikvienam interesentam, kā arī nākamajām Vītolu dzimtas paaudzēm.

The theme of the Master’s paper is “The family and the house of the Vītoli depicted in oral historic evidence and documents.” Vītolu family and their house has not been researched before therefore the aim of the research is to get and summarize the information by doing oral interviews and analysing the available documentary statements such as photographies, documents, registrations and publications. The research paper is based on the theory of Social Costructionism and biographical approach. The research has resulted in unique information about Vītolu family and their house, as well as five valuable interviews of oral history made by knowledgeable witnesses of that time has been obtained. The research will be a useful source of information for everyone interested and for the next generations of Vītolu family.
