Latvijas Universitātes studentu īslaicīgā starptautiskā mobilitāte

Abstract

Maģistra darba „Latvijas Universitātes studentu īslaicīgā starptautiskā mobilitāte” mērķis ir raksturot Latvijas Universitātes (LU) studentu īslaicīgās starptautiskās mobilitātes plūsmas un tendences, kā arī noskaidrot galvenos mobilitātes iemeslus, studentu gaidas, kā arī gūtās pieredzes vērtējumu. Darba teorētisko ietvaru veido augstākās izglītības un globalizācijas teorijas. Empīriskajā daļā izmantota dokumentu analīze, kvantitatīvās aptaujas un daļēji strukturētas intervijas. Darba rezultāti raksturo Latvijas Universitātes studentu īslaicīgās starptautiskās mobilitātes plūsmas un tendences, studentu gaidas un iemeslus dalībai mobilitātē, kā arī ieguvumus dažādās kategorijās: akadēmiskajā, kultūras un sociālajā vidē, analizēti arī procesi studentiem, atgriežoties Latvijā.

The aim of the Paper „The temporary international mobility of the students of the University of Latvia” is to describe the flows and tendencies of the temporary international mobilities of the students of the University of Latvia, as well as find out the main reasons for the mobility, their expectations, and assessment of the gained experience. The theoretical basis is made by higher educational and globalization theories. The empirical study is based on document analysis, quantitative surveys and semi-structured interviews. The results describe the flows and tendencies of the mobility of the students of the University of Latvia, also the expectations, reasons for the mobility, and the gains in different categories: the academic, cultural and social environment; the results show the processes when the students return to Latvia as well.
