Bakalaura darba tēma ir Preses relīze kā sabiedrisko attiecību speciālistu un žurnālistu mijiedarbības aspekts. Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot galvenos preses relīzes kritērijus, kas sekmē sabiedrisko attiecību speciālistu un žurnālistu sadarbību, vai tieši pretēji – neveicina to.
Darbā tiek apskatīta teorija par preses relīzēm, sabiedriskajām attiecībām, informācijas plūsmu un regulāciju, žurnālistikas būtību, gan abu profesiju savstarpējo mijiedarbību. Empīriskajā daļā tiek pētīti sabiedrisko attiecību speciālistu un žurnālistu viedokļi par preses relīzi kā savstarpējās mijiedarbības aspektu, gan veikta kontentanalīze 10 preses relīzēm un to publikācijām, lai interviju rezultātus salīdzinātu ar praksi. Iegūtie rezultāti norāda, ka abu profesiju pārstāvjiem ir nepieciešams augstāks profesionalitātes līmenis, gan jāmaina preses relīzes rakstīšanas stils, lai veicinātu sadarbību un sapratni starp sabiedrisko attiecību speciālistiem un žurnālistiem. The title of Bachelor’s work is Press release as one of the aspects of interchange between public relations specialists and journalists. The aim of the work is to research which aspects of press release promote cooperation between public relations specialists and journalists or on the contrary – which aspects interfere.
Bachelor’s work analyses theory regarding press releases, public relations, information flow and regulation, the essence of journalism as well as interchange between both professions. Empiric part analyses view points of PR specialists and journalists regarding press release as one of the aspects of interchange between both professions. The author of Bachelor’s work has carried out content analysis of 10 press releases and their publications in order to compare the results from the interviews with practice. The obtained data show that both professions require better prepared professionals as well as a change in the style of writing press releases in order to improve cooperation and understanding between PR specialists and journalists.
