Skolēnu izpratne par skolotāja emocionālo inteliģenci

Abstract

Maģistra darbā tiek pētīta skolēnu izpratne par pedagoga emocionālo inteliģenci. Mūsdienu postmodernisma sabiedrībā dzīvās saskarsmes īpatsvars samazinās, ņemot vērā informāciju tehnoloģiju aizvien pieaugošo izplatību. Saskarsmes spējas mūsdienās ir īpaši nepieciešamas darbā ar cilvēkiem, jo īpaši ar bērniem un pusaudžiem, kuri vēl tikai mācās uzvedības modeļus un mēģina izveidot savu personību. Maģistra darba teorētiskajā daļā tiek analizēta zinātniskā literatūra, izpētot, kas ir emocionālā inteliģence, tās konteksts jaunās paradigmas kontekstā, kā arī pusaudžu vecumposma īpatnības un izpratnes jēdziens. Maģistra darba praktiskajā daļā tika anketēts 151 skolēns pusaudžu vecumposmā, attiecīgi no 7. – 10. klasei, ar mērķi izpētīt, kā pēc skolēnu domām ir saistīta skolotāja emocionālā inteliģence ar skolotāja profesionalitāti.

Master’s Thesis “Pupils’ Understanding of Teachers Emotional Intelligence” inspects students’ comprehension of teachers’ emotional intelligence. Nowadays amount of face-to-face communication is decreasing due to growing amount of information technologies. Importance of communication skills is vital when dealing with adolescence due to youth’s need to learn behavior models and develop their self-concept. Master’s Thesis theoretical part consists of scientific literature’s analysis that reveals the meaning behind the phenomenon of emotional intelligence and its context in the perspective of paradigm shift in education. Theoretical part also includes the definition of understanding as well as the study of adolescence’s development and its psychological traits. The research part of Master’s Thesis includes analysis of 151 questionnaires filled out by adolescence students (grade 7-10) in order to reveal students’ understanding of correlation between teachers’ emotional intelligence and their professionalism.
