Abstract

Bakalaura darba „Ekonomiskās integrācijas ietekme uz valstu konkurētspēju: ASEAN piemērs” autors ir Arvīds Zirnis un darba zinātniskā vadītāja ir prof. Dr.oec. Ērika Šumilo. Tas sniedz ieskatu ASEAN ekonomiskās integrācijas būtībā un attīstībā, kā arī autors veic izpēti par integrācijas ietekmi uz Kambodžas un Singapūras konkurētspēju. Bakalaura darbā tiek analizēti avoti par reģionālās integrācijas būtību, sašaurinot to līdz ekonomiskajai integrācijai, kā arī tiek apskatītas teorijas par konkurētspējas jēdzienu un tās ietekmējošajiem faktoriem. Darbā tiek apskatīta ASEAN struktūra, iekļaujot tās unikālās īpašības. Darba beigās autors ir izstrādājis secinājumus par ekonomiskās integrācijas ietekmi uz valstu konkurētspēju. Darbs satur 85 lapaspuses, 12 tabulas, 27 attēlus un 3 pielikumus. Izmantotās literatūras saraksts ietver 74 avotus.

The author of the Bachelor thesis The Effects of Economic Integration on the National Competitiveness: the case of ASEAN is Arvīds Zirnis and the Supervisor of the Thesis is prof. Dr. oec. Ērika Šumilo. The Thesis gives an overview of the content and the development of the ASEAN economic integration. Furthermore, the author conducted the research on the effects of economic integration on the competitiveness of Cambodia and Singapore. There has been an analysis of the academic sources on the purport of Regional integration, narrowing it to economic integration; as well the theories on the concept of the national competitiveness and the factors which affect it has been addressed. The structure of the ASEAN has been examined, including its unique characteristics. The author has drawn up conclusion on the effects of economic integration on the national competitiveness. The Bachelor Thesis consist of 85 pages, 12 tables, 27 graphical images and 3 appendixes. The Bibliography is comprised of 74 sources.
