Lai izprastu situāciju mūsdienās, autore izpētīja cilvēku tirdzniecības vēsturisko aspektu, kura pamatā ir bijusi verdzība. Tika izpētīti arī divi Krimināllikumā ietvertie panti cilvēku tirdzniecību, attiecīgi tos skrupulozi izpētot. | dc.description.abstract | . This master thesis is dedicated to make a research on trafficking in human beings. Trafficking in human beings is one of the world's most fastest growing criminal enterprise for illegal income. To understand the situation in nowadays, author of the thesis made a research of the historical aspect of the human trafficking which derived from the slavery. There was also a research of two articles of the Criminal Law of the Republic of Latvia which were scrupulously examined. In addition, the author has investigated what are other types of trafficking in human beings ,as well as its latest trends.
