Izraēlas un Palestīnas konflikts, Oslo miera procesa analīze 1993-2000

Abstract

Maģistra darba tēma ‘’Izraēlas un Palestīnas konflikts, Oslo miera procesa analīze 1993–2000’’. Pētījums saistās ar periodu, kad Izraēla, sadarbībā ar Palestīnas Atbrīvošanas Organizāciju mēģināja atrisināt Palestīnas suverenitātes jautājumu. Pētijumā problemātika saistās, ar faktu, ka 1993. gadā Oslo perspektīvi uzsāktais miera process, neviennozīmīgu iemeslu rezultātā 2000. gada Kempdeivida samitā izgāzās. Pētījuma mērķis ir noteikt un izanalizēt iespējamos Oslo miera procesa izgāšanās iemeslus. Galvenais uzdevums ir analizēt Oslo miera procesa ietvaros pieņemto saistību nosacījumu ieviešanu, raugoties no konfliktu risināšanas teorētiskās pieejas, pievēršot uzmanību arī drošības koncepta lomai. Rezultātā tika noskaidrots, ka par Oslo miera procesa izgāšanās iemeslu uzskatāma abpusēja drošības saistību nepildīšana.

The title of masters thesis is ‘’The Israeli–Palestinian conflict, the Oslo peace process analysis 1993–2000’’. Research is based on a period when Israel, in cooperation with Palestinian Liberation Organization tryed to Solve the issue of Palestininian sovereignity. The main problem based on a fact, the peace process started at Oslo in 1993 eventually failed at Camp David Summit in 2000 due to ambiguous reasons. Goal of this research is to determine and analyze the propable reasons for the failure of the Oslo peace process. The main task is to analyze implementation of the Oslo accords arrangements, by using the conflict resolution theoretical approach, while looking at the role of the security concept. In the result it was found out that the reason why the Oslo peace process failed is a mutual failure to implement security arrangements.
