Bakalaura darba „TV3” un „LTV1” ziņu dienas kārtība un struktūra, salīdzinošā analīze mērķis ir izpētīt to, kā atšķiras komerciālās un sabiedriskās televīzijas darbības principi, precīzāk TV3 un LTV1 ziņas. Kādi ir šo atšķirību galvenie iemesli, kā tas ietekmē ziņu kvalitāti. Balstoties uz teorētisko bāzi, tiks veikta kvantitatīvā kontentanalīze, daļēji strukturētās intervijas un aptauja.
Atšķirības rada finansējums, kuru katra televīzija gūst citādāk. TV3 ziņas to iegūst no reklāmas, abonēšanas maksas, savukārt LTV1 ziņas sponsorē valsts. Abu ziņu dienestu pamatfunkcija ir informēt sabiedrību, taču pārējie mērķi ir atšķirīgi - LTV1 ziņu dienesta mērķis ir veicināt nacionālās identitātes vērtību nostiprināšanu utt. TV3 ziņu dienests koncentrējas uz peļņu. Bachelor thesis "TV3" and "LTV1" news agenda and structure, comparative analysis aim is to explore what is the difference between commercial and public television’s main principles, more precisely, TV3 and LTV1 news. What is the reason for these differences, and how it affects the quality of the news. The bachelor’s paper will be carried on the basis of the quantitative content analysis, semi-structured interviews and a survey.
The way in which these televisions chose to finances themselves is different. TV3 news is financially supported by commercials, subscription fee, but LTV1 is supported by government. The aim goal of these televisions is to inform the society, though the other intensions can differ – LTV1 goal of the national television is to promote the strengthening of national identity value e.a. TV3 focus on earnings.
