Bakalaura darba tēma – “Pacienta dzīvesveida izmaiņas hiperholesterinēmijas gadījumā”.
Paaugstināts holesterīna līmenis jeb hiperholesterinēmija ir viens no galvenajiem cēloņiem saslimšanā ar sirds asinsvadu slimībām un insultu. Globāli kopumā trešā daļa no sirds išēmiskām slimībām ir saistīta ar paaugstinātu holesterīna līmeni. Pasaulē ar hiperholesterinēmiju saskaras vairāk kā 5,6 miljoni cilvēku.
Bakalaura darba literatūras apskata daļā tiek aprakstīts, kas ir holesterīns, hiperholesterinēmija, tās cēloņi un ietekme uz organismu un veselīga dzīvesveida nozīme pie hiperholesterinēmijas. Bakalaura darba tēmai tika izvēlēta un analizēta V. Hendersones māszinības teorija, par cilvēka nepieciešamām pamatvajadzībām un to nozīme pacientiem hiperholesterinēmijas gadījumā.
Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot pacienta dzīvesveida izmaiņas hiperholesterinēmijas gadījumā.
Darba uzdevumi ir apkopot un analizēt literatūru par pacienta dzīvesveida izmaiņām hiperholesterinēmijas gadījumā, izstrādāt intervijas jautājumus, veikt pētījumu, apkopot un analizēt iegūtos datus, kā arī izdarīt secinājumus.
Pētniecības jautājums: kādas dzīvesveida izmaiņas pacients veic hiperholesterinēmijas gadījumā?
Pētniecības instruments: intervija.
Pētniecības metode – kvalitatīvā.
Uz pētījuma izvirzīto jautājumu tika atbildēts – pacients, hiperholesterinēmijas gadījumā veic dzīvesveida izmaiņas – veic regulāras fiziskās aktivitātes, maina ēšanas paradumus un nelieto vai samazina alkohola lietošanu un cigarešu smēķēšanu.
Bakalaura darba apjoms ir 50 lapaspuses, darbā iekļautas 13 tabulas, pievienoti 3 pielikumi un izmantoti 34 zinātniskās literatūras avoti.

High cholesterol or hypercholesterolemia is one of the major causes of cardiovascular disease and stroke. Globally, a third of ischemic heart disease is attributed to high cholesterol. Over 5.5 million people worldwide are faced with hypercholesterolemia.
The objective of the thesis: To review cholesterol, hypercholesterolemia, its causes, effects on the body, and the importance of a healthy lifestyle for those diagnosed with hypercholesterolemia.
In assessment of V. Henderson’s nursing theory, concerning a human’s basic needs and the importance thereof, the objective is to be applied for patients diagnosed with hypercholesterolemia.
The aim of the thesis: Identify needed lifestyle changes for patient’s lifestyle diagnosed with hypercholesterolemia.
Thesis tasks: Collect and analyze medical literature on lifestyle changes for patients with hypercholesterolemia, develop interview questions, conduct a study, analyze data acquired and draw conclusions.
Study question: What lifestyle changes the patients conduct when diagnosed with hypercholesterolemia?
Research tool: Interview.
Research method: - Qualitative.
After the research, the study question - the patient, diagnosed with hypercholesterolemia conducted lifestyle changes - pursues regular physical activity, improves dietary habits and decreases the use of alcohol and smoking.
This thesis consists of 50 pages, includes 13 charts, 3 appendices, and in order to elaborate this thesis, sources consisting of 34 scientific literature have been used.
