Informācijas sistēmas ieviešana organizācijās

Abstract

Izstrādāts maģistra darbs „Informācijas sistēmas ieviešana organizācijās”. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt Latvijas Republikas Iekšlietu Ministrijas vienotā notikumu reģistra, Geadeon Richter Plc uzņēmumu resursu plānošanas sistēmas un SIA 2IT informāciju sistēmu ieviešanas procesus, piedāvājot efektīvākos informācijas sistēmas ieviešanas risinājumus. Esošo informāciju sistēmu trūkums vai organizācijas nespēja sniegt vajadzīgo pakalpojumu apjomu, rada nepieciešamību organizācijām pastāvīgi uzlabot esošās vai ieviest jaunas sistēmas. Neefektīvs informācijas ieviešanas process pazemina organizācijas kopējo efektivitāti. Teorētiskais pamatojums ir balstīts uz Luvai Motivalla (Luvai F. Motiwalla), Džefa Tompsona ( Jeff Thompson), Kerla Pearlsona (Kerl E. Pearlson) un Korola Saundera (Corol S. Saunders), kā arī citu autoru darbiem. Empīriskajā daļā analizēts Latvijas Republikas Iekšlietu Ministrijas vienotā notikumu reģistra, starptautiska farmācijas kompānijas Geadeon Richter Plc uzņēmumu resursu plānošanas sistēmu un SIA 2IT informāciju sistēmu ieviešanas process, balstoties uz teorētiskajā daļā analizētajiem teorētiskajiem ietvariem. Darbā analizēti un inspirēti dati, kuri iegūti, veicot intervijas. Secinājumi un priekšlikumi izstrādāti, izmantojot pētījumā iegūtos rezultātus. Iekšlietu Ministrijas informāciju sistēmas ieviešanas procesa analīzi, kā piemēru var izmantot līdzīgu informācijas sistēmu ieviešanā valsts pārvaldes iestādēs. Savukārt SIA 2IT uzņēmuma informācijas sistēmu ieviešanas un informāciju tehnoloģiju stratēģijas analīzi var izmantot kā piemēru mazo un vidējo uzņēmumu informāciju tehnoloģiju pārvaldībā. Darba nobeigumā formulēti secinājumi un izvirzīti priekšlikumi. Darba kopējais apjoms ir 84. lappuses, pētījumā ir ietverti 34 attēli, 1 tabula un 1 pielikums.

The thesis “Implementing information systems in organizations” has been submitted for the masters’ degree. The main goals of this paper are to explore information system implementation processes in Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Latvia, explore Enterprise Resource Planning System implementation in Geadeon Richter Plc and explore implementation of information systems in SIA 2IT, explore and offer the most effective solution for information system implementation. Lack of existing information systems or inability of organizations to provide the necessary scope of services makes them constantly improve existing information systems or implement new systems. Ineffective implementation process lowers the overall efficiency of the organization. Theoretical approach of this paper is based on Luvai F. Motiwalla, Jeff Thompson, Kerl E. Pearlson, Corol S. Saunders as well as the theoretical input of other authors in this field. In the empirical part of the paper implementation process of United Event Registry in Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Latvia, Enterprise Resource Planning system in international pharmaceutical company Geadeon Richter Plc. and information system implementation in small information technology Company – SIA 2IT is analyzed, based on theoretical frameworks which are analyzed in the theoretical part. In this part of paper work the data for analysis is obtained from interviews. Conclusions and recommendations are developed from results of research. Implementation process analysis of United Event Registry in Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Latvia can be used as an example in similar implementation of the information systems in departments of government. SIA 2IT information system implementation analysis and analysis of information technology strategy in company can be used as an example for small and medium-size business. IT business and IT strategy analysis can be used as an example for IT management in small and medium-sized companies. At the end of the paper there are conclusions expressed and proposals suggested. In total there are 84 pages in this thesis. Research includes 34 pictures, 1 tables and 1 annexure.
