Uzdevumi dabas tematikas vārdu krājuma bagātināšanai angļu valodas stundās 9. klasē

Abstract

Diplomdarba nosaukums ir „Uzdevumi dabas tematikas vārdu krājuma bagātināšanai angļu valodas stundās 9. klasē”. Mērķis ir studēt un izpētīt kā klases un ārpusklases aktivitātes angļu valodas stundās var palīdzēt paplašināt un bagātināt ar dabu saistītu vārdu krājumu devīto klašu skolēniem. Izvirzītā mērķa sasniegšanai kā pētījuma metode tika izmantots atsevišķa gadījuma pētījums, kas tika veikts Jaunjelgavas vidusskolā. Pētījumā piedalījās 14 Jaunjelgavas vidusskolas devītās klases skolēni. Astoņu nedēļu laikā Jaunjelgavas vidusskolas 9.klasei tika dota iespēja attīstīt, pilnveidot un bagātināt savu vārdu krājumu ar dabas tematiku saistītājās stundās. Vairākas izzinošas ar dabu saistītās aktivitātes telpās un ārpus tām tika noorganizētas un vēlāk izvērtētas. Noslēgumā skolēniem tika lūgts sniegt atgriezenisko saiti. Diplomdarba autore pētīja dažādu ar dabas tematiku saistītu uzdevumu ietekmi uz vārdu krājuma paplašināšanas iespējām. Skolēniem tika iedotas divas anketas, gūtie anketu dati apliecināja, ka dotais ar dabu saistītais temats interesē skolēnus un dažādi ar dabas tematiku saistīti uzdevumi ir izglītojoši un motivējoši, lai sasniegtu vislabākos rezultātus mācību procesā. Angļu valodas stundās gan klasē, gan ārpus tās tika veikti dažādi ar dabu saistīti papilduzdevumi, kas veicināja pilnvērtīgāku ar dabu saistītu vārdu apguvi un zināšanu nostiprināšanu. Skolēnu atsauksmes ir parādījušas, ka ar dabas tematiku saistītie uzdevumi, kā piemēram, āra aktivitātes “Ieskaties ciešāk dabā!” un “Visatjautīgākā un zinātkārākā gidu komanda” tāpat kā uzdevumi telpās – autentisku tekstu lasīšana un klausīšanās, krustvārdu mīklu un prezentāciju veidošana ir lietderīgas skolēnu ar dabas tematiku vārdu krājuma paplašināšanai un bagātināšanai. Pētījumā gūtie rezultāti norāda, ka skolēnu vārdu krājums ir bagātinājies, jo skolēni tika aktīvi iesaistīti ar dabas tematiku saistītajos klases un ārpusklases uzdevumos. Turklāt skolēnu iegūtās zināšanas tiks pielietotas un nostiprinātas starptautiskajā starpskolu partnerību projektā Erasmus+ 2016.

The title of the Diploma Paper is Nature-based Activities to Enrich Vocabulary in English Lessons in form 9; the set aim is to explore how nature-based activities can help to enlarge and enrich vocabulary in Form 9 during their English language lessons. To achieve the aim as a research method was used a case study which was carried out at Jaunjelgava Secondary School. Fourteen students of Form 9 participated in the research. During the period of eight weeks one class of Jaunjelgava Secondary School students had been given the opportunity to develop, improve and enrich their nature-based vocabulary during different nature-based activities. Several gnostic nature-based indoor and outdoor activities were organized and later evaluated. The students were asked to write the feedback at the end of the study. The author of the Diploma Paper explored how nature-based activities could help to enlarge and enrich students’ vocabulary. The results of the given questionnaires had shown that they liked nature, and nature-based activities could be educational and motivated them to achieve the best results in the learning process. Different nature-based indoor and outdoor cross-curricular optional activities were done in English lessons which contributed more valuable nature-based vocabulary’ acquisition and the strengthening of knowledge. The students’ feedback has shown that nature-based activities, for instance outdoor activities “Look Carefully in Nature!” and “The Cleverest and The Most Curious Team of Guides”, likewise indoor activities reading and listening the authentic texts, making crosswords and presentations were useful for enlarging and enriching students’ nature-based vocabulary. The results of research has shown the students’ vocabulary is enriching because the students were active involved in nature-based indoor and outdoor activities. Moreover their gained knowledge will be applied and strengthened the international multilateral partnership project Erasmus+, 2016.
