Otrās svešvalodas ieviešanas nozīmīgums 4. klasē

Abstract

Šī diplomdarba tēma ir veltīta otrās svešvalodas ieviešanas 4. klasē nozīmīgumam. Agrāka svešvalodas ieviešana rada labākas iespējas Eiropas un pasaules darba tirgū, atvieglo piekļuvi izglītības saņemšanai un paaugstina dzīves standartus un kvalitāti. Agrāk apgūstot otro svešvalodu, bērns sāk ātrāk saprast valodu struktūras un salīdzina valodas. Diplomdarba teorētiskajā daļā tiek detalizēti pamatota nepieciešamība ieviest otrās svešvalodas mācības no 4. klases. Praktiskā novitāte ir 2016./2017. mācību gadam izstrādātā mācību priekšmeta programma, ko var izmantot mācību procesā arī citās Latvijas skolās. Darbs sastāv no ievada, praktiskās un teorētiskās daļas. Ievadā tika formulēti mērķi, uzdevumi, hipotēze, pētījuma metode, kā arī darba etapi. Teorētiskajā daļā tika izpētītas daudzvalodības un otrās svešvalodas definīcijas, otrās svešvalodas ieviešanas vecums Latvijā un citās valstīs, iespējas agrākai ieviešanai ar tās problēmām un risinājumiem. Darbā tiek aprakstītas priekšrocības un trūkumi otrās svešvalodas ieviešanai 4. klasē, kā arī aplūkots mācību priekšmeta programmas nozīmīgums un saturs. Praktiskā daļa sastāv no skolas X vecāku, skolēnu un skolotāju aptaujas par agrāku otrās svešvalodas ieviešanu, mācību priekšmeta programmas vācu valodai 4. klasē, trīs stundu plāniem un pedagoģiskās izmēģinājumdarbības. Diplomdarbu noslēdz secinājumi, kas norāda, ka vācu valodas kā otrās svešvalodas ieviešana 4. klasē veicina skolēnu svešvalodu prasmes un attīsta valodas izpratni.

This Diploma Paper deals with the importance of introduction of the second foreign language in the 4th form. The earlier introduction of foreign languages provides better opportunities in the European and global labour market, facilitating access to the education, and raises the living standards and quality. The earlier acquiring of the second foreign language will help a child to begin to understand the language structures and to make language comparison earlier. The theoretical actuality of this diploma paper is based on the importance of trying to introduce the second foreign language in the Latvian schools from the 4th form. The practical novelty is the developed curriculum for the school year 2016/2017 that can be chosen by other schools in Latvia. The work consists of the introduction, practical and theoretical parts. The introduction contains the list of aims, objectives, hypothesis and research method, as well as the working stages. In the theoretical part, the multilingualism and the second foreign language’s definitions have been researched, the age when the second foreign language in Latvia and in other countries is introduced, the possibilities of earliest introduction, its problems and solutions. The paper describes the advantages and disadvantages of the introduction of the second foreign language in the 4th form, as well as considers the importance of curriculum. The practical part consists of the questionnaire for students, parents and teachers of the X school on the early second foreign language introduction, the development of the curriculum for the German language lessons in the 4th form, three lesson plans and case study description. The final part of the diploma paper contains the conclusions, indicating that German as the second foreign language in the 4th form promotes the pupils’ foreign language skills and develops the language understanding and competence.
