Latvijas medicīnas tūrisma un tā produktu konkurētspēja

Abstract

Bakalaura darba mērķis ir, pamatojoties uz Latvijas medicīnas tūrisma stipro un vājo pušu analīzi, novērtēt šīs nozares konkurētspēju un pievilcību medicīnas tūristiem, kā arī izstrādāt priekšlikumus šīs nozares konkurētspējas palielināšanai. Mērķa sasniegšanai tika, apskatīti Latvijas medicīnas tūrisma attīstība, analizēti Baltijas valstu medicīnas konkurētspēju ietekmējošie faktori, medicīnas tūrisma iestāžu dati, kā arī intervēti nozares eksperti. Darba rezultāta tika secināts, ka Baltijas valstu medicīnas tūrismam ir daudz vienādu iezīmju, tāpēc, lai Latvija varētu būt konkurētspējīgāka, ir nepieciešams koncentrēties uz unikālo medicīnas tūrisma produktu virzīšanu, kā arī tas, ka nozarei nepieciešams lielāks valsts atbalsts.

The aim of the bachelor thesis is, to measure the Latvia’s medical tourisms competitiveness and attractiveness according to the analysis of Latvia’s medical tourism strengths and weaknesses, as well as, to develop proposals for increasing the industries competitiveness. To achieve objective, it was mandatory to view the Latvia’s medical tourism development, to analyze the affecting factors for competitiveness in Baltic States, and to view the data of medical tourism institutions, as well as to interview the experts of the industry. In the result of the work, it was concluded that the medical tourism in the Baltic state countries have many common features, therefore, it is mandatory to concentrate to the promotion of the unique product of Latvian medical tourism for Latvia to become more competitive in the current industry, as well as it is mandatory that the tourism as a product needs a bigger financial support from the state for it to achieve development.
