Kriptovalūtas "bitcoin" izmantošana e-komercija

Abstract

Mūsdienās e-komercija ir pilnībā atkarīga no finanšu iestādēm, kas nodrošina maksājumu izpildes procesus. Šādi starpniecības pakalpojumi ir dārgi un iekļauj virkni būtisku trūkumu. Diplomdarbā tiek analizēts, kādas priekšrocības tirgotājam var sniegt virtuālo maksājumu sistēma bez trešo personu līdzdalības, un darba mērķis ir iepazīt un izprast Bitcoin darbību un praktiski pierādīt, ka Bitcoin e-komercijā var konkurēt ar pašreizējiem norēķinu veidiem. Darbā tika veikta padziļināta Bitcoin sistēmas elementu un darbības izpēte, kā arī izveidota e-komercijas vietne, kurā simulēts bitcoin maksājuma process no klienta un komersanta puses. Bitcoin ieviešana, salīdzinot ar ierasto maksājumu sistēmām, ir komersantam izdevīgāka un sniedz priekšrocības, tomēr pašlaik tā nespēj aizstāt skaidras naudas vai bankas pārskaitījuma norēķinus.

Nowadays e-commerce is entirely dependent on financial institutions, that execute the payment process. Intermediary services are costly and entail several disadvantages. This thesis analyzes the benefits for the businesses of a virtual payments system without third party involvement, and the aim of the thesis is to research Bitcoin operations and to prove in a practical manner that the use of Bitcoin in e-commerce could provide advantages over the standard methods of payment. The thesis looks in the depth at the elements and operations of Bitcoin system, it provides an e-commerce website created by the author, in which payments in bitcoin from clients and businesses are simulated. The introduction of Bitcoin is more beneficial to businesses and provides advantages compared to the standard methods of payment, however it cannot currently replace bank or cash transactions.
