Ārvalstu tiešās investīcijas informāciju un komunikāciju tehnoloģiju nozarē, to ietekme uz iekšzemes kopproduktu

Abstract

Apzinoties digitālās ekonomikas straujo attīstību un augsti attīstītu valstu piemēru, kuru tautsaimniecība ir orientēta uz informācijas un komunikāciju tehnoloģijām (IKT) autore uzskata, ka IKT nozare mūsdienās ir īpaši svarīga. Aktuāls jautājums ir apzināt vai Latvijas valdībai IKT nozari vajadzētu izvirzīt kā vienu no prioritārajām nozarē, kas spētu efektīvāk stimulēt ekonomisko izaugsmi, izvēloties nozares vienu no stimulēšanas veidiem ārvalstu tiešo investīciju (ĀTI) piesaistīšanu. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt un izskaidrot ĀTI IKT nozarē ietekmi uz IKP, ekonomisko izaugsmi. Veiktā datu korolācija apstiprina hipotēzi, ka ĀTI IKT nozarē palielina valsts ekonomiskās izaugsmes rādītāju – IKP, taču, veicot datu regresiju, modeļi nav izmantojami un iegūtie dati nav interpretējami un izmantojami tālākā analīzē, lai noteiktu to ietekmes apjomu.

Nowadays digital economy has rapid development, in example of hight development countries which are focused on information and communication technologies (ICT), author considers that the ICT industry today is especially important. It is important to identify whether the Latvian governmet should set ICT field as one of priority sectors to stimulate effectiv economic growth by selecting one of the type of stimulation – FDI. The aim of the paper is to study and explain the FDI in ICT sector affect to GDP, economy growth. The hipothesis that FDI in ICT sector increases the country economic growth rate – GDP, has been approved by the result of data correlation, but the data regression model showed that the models can not be used and the data can not be interpreted and used for further analysis to determine the extent of the impact.
