Maģistra darba „Salacgrīvas novada decentralizēto notekūdeņu apsaimniekošanas sistēmas attīstība” izstrādes mērķa sasniegšanai pētītas, analizētas un izvērtētas esošās notekūdeņu apsaimniekošanas tendences Salacgrīvas novadā. Balstoties uz dokumentu analīzi un empīrisko pētījumu līdzšinējās decentralizēti novadīto notekūdeņu apsaimniekošanas sistēmas pārvaldības prakses novērtēšanai, izmantojot skaitlisko analīzes metodi un intervējot mērķgrupu pārstāvjus, izstrādātas vadlīnijas decentralizēto notekūdeņu apsaimniekošanas attīstības plānošanai. Maģistra darbs izstrādāts 6 nodaļās un 19 apakšnodaļās uz 141 lapas (neskaitot pielikumus). Darbā ietvertas 18 tabulas, 56 attēli un 19 pielikumi, minētas atsauces uz 137 dokumentu un informācijas avotu.
