Abstract

Aktualizējoties diskusijām par adaptāciju klimata pārmaiņām, būtisks temats ir valstu, pašvaldību un ūdens baseinu apgabalu spēja veidot veiksmīgu plūdu riska pārvaldību. Plūdiem ir raksturīga visaptveroša postoša ietekme ne tikai uz dabas vidi, bet arī īpašumu, sociālekonomisko vidi, cilvēku veselību, infrastruktūru un kultūrvēsturiskām vērtībām, tādēļ nepieciešama visaptveroša, ilgtspējīga un gudra plūdu riska pārvaldība. Bakalaura darba „Ogres upes plūdu riska pārvaldība” mērķis ir novērtēt plūdu riska pārvaldību Ogres pilsētā un Ogresgala pagastā, apzināt Ogres upes plūdu cēloņus un plūdu ietekmi uz dabas un sociālekonomisko vidi pie dažādām plūdu iestāšanās varbūtībām, kā arī aprēķināt potenciālos plūdu radītos ekonomiskos zaudējumus.

National, municipal and water basin district level ability to build successful flood risk management is a topical matter in the context of adaption to climate change. Flooding is a widely occurring natural hazard that noticeably damages not only natural environment, but also property, socio-economic environment, human health, infrastructure, cultural un historical values, therefore comprehensive, sustainable and smart flood risk management is needed. The aim of the bachelor thesis „Ogre river flood risk management” is to assess flood risk management in Ogre town and Ogresgala parish, to identify Ogre river flood causes and impact of floods on the natural and socio-economic environment at different flood probabilities, and to calculate the potential economic damage of Ogre river flooding.
