Piepilsētas ietekme uz Pierīgas novadu Saeimas vēlēšanu rezultātiem Vidzemes vēlēšanu apgabalā

Abstract

Bakalaura darbs “Piepilsētas ietekme uz Pierīgas novadu Saeimas vēlēšanu rezultātiem Vidzemes vēlēšanu apgabalā” ir pētījums par 8. un 11. Saeimas vēlēšanu rezultātu teritoriālo izkliedi, analizējot Vidzemes vēlēšanu apgabalu un notiekošos socioekonomiskos un politiskos procesus. Tiek skaidrota suburbanizācijas ietekme uz Saeimas vēlēšanu rezultātiem Vidzemes vēlēšanu apgabalā, atsevišķi analizējot Pierīgas un pārējās Vidzemes teritoriju, lai skaidrotu socioekonomisko faktoru mainību starp teritorijām. Aplūkotie socioekonomiskie rādītāji, piemēram, iedzīvotāju ienākuma nodoklis, darbspējas vecums, latviešu īpatsvars u.c. tiek apskatīti saistībā ar 8. un 11. Saeimā kandidējošo partiju vēlēšanu rezultātiem. Kā ciešuma rādītājs tiek izmantots korelācijas un determinācijas koeficients, bet Pierīgas un pārējās Vidzemes atšķirības ir analizētas, izmantojot t-Testu. Darba rezultāti parāda, ka pastāv statistiski būtiskas atšķirības partiju rezultātos starp Pierīgas un pārējās Vidzemes teritorijām. Pierīgā notiekošie politiskie procesi atšķiras no pārējās Vidzemes, jo Pierīgā analizētajā intervālā ir konstatēts iedzīvotāju skaita pieaugums, kā arī ir palielinājušās dzīves līmeņa atšķirības starp Pierīgu un pārējo Vidzemi.

The bachelor thesis “The effect of suburbanization on parliament election results in the Vidzeme electoral district” is a research of territorial dispersion of 8th and 11th Saeima election results analysing current socio-economic and political processes in Vidzeme electoral district. The research explains the effect of suburbanization on parliament election results in the Vidzeme electoral district seperately analysing Pieriga and the rest of Vidzeme district interpreting the variability of socio-economic factors between areas. Examined socio-economic factors, for example, personal income tax per capita, working age, the proportion of Latvians et al. are analysed in relation to running parties of 8th and 11 th Saeima. As a linear relationship the correlation coefficient and coefficient of determination are used and differences between Pieriga and the rest of Vidzeme district are defined using t-Test. The obtained results show the statistical significance in party results between Pieriga and the rest of Vidzeme district. Current political processes in Pieriga differ from the rest of Vidzeme due to population growth as well as the differences in the standard of living between these two territories in the analysed period of time.
