Āfrikas cūku mēra ietekme uz mežacūku populāciju Latvijā

Abstract

Laikā, kad pasaulē ir augsti attīstīta globalizācija, sabiedrība aizvien vairāk tiek pakļauta dažādu vīrusu un sērgu izplatībai. Pēdējā laikā nākas dzirdēt par slimībām, kas skar savvaļas dzīvniekus. Šobrīd aktuālākā vīrusa slimība, kas reģistrēta Latvijā, ir Āfrikas cūku mēris. Bakalaura darbā ir aprakstīta Āfrikas cūku mēra virusoloģija un izplatība, kā arī suga – meža cūka, kuru ietekmē šis vīruss. Šajā darbā vislielākā uzmanība pievērsta tam, kāda ir vīrusa ietekme uz meža cūku populāciju Latvijā. Darba praktiskajā daļā tiek salīdzināts nomedīto meža cūku blīvums ar uzskaitīto dzīvnieku blīvumu, kā arī sniegts paskaidrojums, kā šie rādītāji ietekmē Āfrikas cūku mēra (ĀCM) izplatību. Tiek analizēta meža cūku populācija valstī pirms un pēc ĀCM reģistrēšanas Latvijā.

During the time when the globalization is immensely intesified, the society is exposed more often to the prevalence of viruses and plagues. In recent time, there have been cases of diseases that affect wild animals. Currently the most topical viral disease that has been registered in Latvia is the African swine fever (ASF). The virology and prevalence of the ASF, and the species – wild boar that has been affected by this virus are discussed in the present Bachelor’s Paper. The main emphasis has been put on the affect of this virus on the population of wild boars. In the practical part of the papar there has been compared the density of the hunted wild boars with the density of the recorded animals, and there has been given an explanation on how these indicators affect the prevalence of the ASF. There has been carried out an analysis of the wild boar population in country before and after the registration of the ASF in Latvia.
