Citēšanas pārvaldības rīku lietojamība

Abstract

Pētījuma “Citēšanas pārvaldības rīku lietojamība” mērķis ir noskaidrot, cik lietotājiem draudzīgi ir pieejamie bezmaksas rīki – Mendeley un Zotero, kādi ir plusi un mīnusi, darbojoties ar šiem rīkiem. Pētījums balstīts uz DELOS seminārā Budapeštā izstrādāto “Mijiedarbības trīs komponentu modeli” (The Interaction Triptych Model). Kā datu vākšanas metode izvēlēta verbālais protokols. Rīku aprakstīšanai un novērtēšanai tika veikta kvalitatīvā kontentanalīze. Pētījuma rezultātā apstiprinājās izvirzītā hipotēze, ka Mendeley un Zotero nav lietotājiem draudzīgi rīki, jo rīku ātrākai apgūšanai ir nepieciešama profesionāļu palīdzība.

The purpose of the study “Citation management tool usability” is to find out how user friendly these free tools – Mendeley and Zotero are and what are their pros and cones working with these tools. The research is based on The Interaction Triptych Model in Delos Workshop in Budapest. The data collection method chosen for this study is verbal protocol. Describing and evaluation is carried out by qualitative content analysis. The research has confirmed the hypothesis that Mendeley and Zotero are not user friendly tools as there is a need for professional help to master tools faster.
