Abas darba laika grupas veica trīs aptaujas: „Apmierinātība ar dzīvi skala” (Satisfaction with life scale, SWLS, Diener, Emmons, Larsen, & Griffin, 1985), „Uztvertā personīgo mērķu piepildījuma skala” (Personal goals and perceived context scale, Koļesovs, 2015) un „Kopējā apmierinātība ar darbu skala” (Overall job satisfaction scale, Brayfield & Rothe, 1951). The goal of the thesis is to research the correlation between the subjective well-being, satisfaction with work and the fulfilment of personal goals of employees with their work schedule. To find out whether there are key differences between regular full time work and shift work in relation to employees’ subjective wellbeing, satisfaction with work and the fulfilment of personal goals. The group of research participants includes 76 employees of the X company – 66 women and 10 men with the average age of 32,6 years. The respondents were divided into two groups – regular full time employees and shift work employees, both of which participated in three surveys: “Satisfaction with life scale” (SWLS) (Diener, Emmons, Larsen, & Griffin, 1985), “Personal goals and perceived context scale” (Koļesovs, 2015) and “Overall job satisfaction scale” (Brayfield & Rothe, 1951). The research shows that there are statistically significant differences between employees with different work schedules and their overall work satisfaction. The regular full time employee group shows statistically higher overall work satisfaction than shift work employees. No statistically significant differences in subjective wellbeing were found between the work schedule groups. Regular full time employees show statistically higher satisfaction with achieved goals than shift work employees, especially in such areas as education, family and marriage. Furthermore, regular full time work employees show statistically higher goal fulfilment than shift work employees in such areas as property, money and personal development. It was concluded that there is a positive correlation between subjective wellbeing, work satisfaction and perceived fulfilment of personal goals for regular full time work employees and shift work employees.
