Latvijas komercbanku attīstība un to darbības ietekme uz ekonomiku

Abstract

Maģistra darba tēmas aktualitāti pamato tas, ka komercbanku stabilitāte un attīstība ir svarīga gan privātpersonām, gan uzņēmumiem, gan valstij. Darba mērķis ir, balstoties uz teorētiskajām nostādnēm, Latvijas komercbanku darbības rādītāju analīzi un empīriskā pētījuma rezultātiem, izdarīt secinājumus par Latvijas komercbanku darbības ietekmi uz ekonomiku un sniegt priekšlikumus komercbanku darbības uzraudzības stiprināšanai. Darba mērķa sasniegšanai autore izvirza galveno uzdevumu: balstoties uz teorētiskajām nostādnēm izveidot un novērtēt ekonometrisko modeli, ar kura palīdzību būs iespējams pieradīt savstarpējo saikni starp Latvijas ekonomisko attīstību un komercbanku darbību. Autores iegūtie rezultāti liecina par to, ka saikne starp komercbanku darbības rezultātiem un ekonomikas attīstību pastāv.

The topic of the Master thesis is supported by the fact that commercial banks' stability and development is important for both individuals and businesses and the state. The purpose of the work is to make conclusions about the Latvian commercial banks influence on the economy and to make proposals to strengthen supervision of commercial banks operations basing them on the theoretical framework, the analysis of Latvian commercial bank indicators and empirical research results. To reach the goals of the master thesis the author sets forward the main task: Basing the theoretical framework, to establish and assess the econometric model, with which it will be possible to prove the link between the Latvian economic development and the activities of commercial banks. The author’s findings reflect the fact that the link between the commercial banks' performance and economic development exist.
