Abstract

Maģistra darba autore izvirza mērķi analizēt ekonomiskos datus, kritiskos jautājumus un ekspertu atzinumus par notiekošajām ES un Indijas brīvās tirdzniecības līguma pārrunām. Lai sasniegtu šo mērķi, autore identificē kritiskos jautājumus, kas ietekmē brīvās tirdzniecības līguma noslēgšanu starp ES un Indiju. Autore turpmāk izvērtē kritiskos jautājumus. Autore apkopo ekspertu atzinumus par ES un Indijas brīvās tirdzniecības līguma pārrunu procesu. Pēc viedokļus savākšanas, autore nosaka visvairāk pieminētos pārrunu jautājumus un atzinumus par tiem. Autore arī apkopo un analizē ekonomikas datus, izmantojot ar Eurostat statistikas datu bāzi, kā arī Eurostat preses relīzi, kura izdota, saskaņā ar ES un Indijas 13. Samitā sniegto informāciju. Maģistra darbs sastāv no ievada, trīs nodaļām, secinājumiem un literatūras saraksta. Maģistra darbs ir 83 lappuses garš, rakstīts angļu valodā un satur 2 attēlus, 4 tabulas, 9 grafikus un 5 pielikumus.

In this thesis author sets an aim to analyze economic ties between EU and India, issues and expert opinions on the ongoing EU and India Free Trade Agreement negotiations. In order to achieve this aim, author identifies various issues influencing the achievement of Free Trade Agreement between EU and India. Author then analyzes economic ties, determines more and less influential issues, and draws conclusions. Author collects expert opinions on the issue through press articles, printed and video media materials. Author also collects and analyzes economic data, using information provided by the Eurostat statistical database as well as the Eurostat press release after EU-India 13th Summit. Master’s thesis consists of introduction, four sections, conclusions, recommendations and list of references. Master thesis is 83 pages long, is composed in English and contains 2 figures, 4 tables, 9 charts and 5 annexes.
