Deguna elpošanas kvalitātes novērtējums astmas pacientiem

Abstract

Ārsti otorinolaringologi praksē ir novērojuši komorbiditāti starp astmu un deguna obstrukciju, kā arī rinosinusītiem, deguna fizioloģiskiem un anatomiskiem defektiem, tādiem kā polipoze, gliemežnīcu hipertrofija, starpsienas deviācija u.c. Visā pasaulē pētījumos ir pierādījusies saistība starp dažādiem rinītiem un astmu, kā arī tiek pētīta šo saistību patoģenēze. Konkrētu pētījumu par deguna elpošanas funkciju astmas pacientiem trūkst. Mērķis - Autores diplomdarbā paredzēts izvērtēt deguna elpošanas kvalitāti – deguna rezistenci astmas pacientiem

Background: Otorhinolaryngology specialists have noticed in their clinical practice comorbidity between asthma, nasal obstruction, rhinosinusitis, anatomical and physiological defects like polyps, hypertrophy of conchae, septal deviation etc. Researches all over the world have proved comorbidity between asthma and different rhinosinusitis, there is also some research in the pathogenesis about this connection. However, there is a lack of studies that show and state the quality of nasal breathing in asthma patients. Objective: The aim of this study was to measure the nasal resistance and estimate the quality of nasal breathing in asthma patients. Tasks: to measure the effective resistance of the nose with 4PR and evaluate the level of obstruction and check if there is any changes after decongestion spray. Also to ask patients about any rhinology problems in anamnesis or nasal breathing complains.
