Latvijas Universitātes Bibliotēkas apmācību pakalpojuma efektivitāte

Abstract

Maģistra darbs ir par Latvijas Universitātes bibliotēkas apmācību pakalpojuma efektivitāti un nepieciešamību studiju procesā. Pētījuma problēma ir tā, ka nav izpētīta šī pakalpojuma efektivitāte. Pētījuma mērķi ir noskaidrot, vai bibliotēkas organizētās apmācības pozitīvi ietekmē studentu informācijpratību elektronisko informācijas resursu izmantošanā. Pētījuma metateorija ir pragmatisms, skaidrojot apmācību lietderību un praktisko nozīmi, tiek izmantoti Kirkpatrika modeļa četri mācīšanās līmeņi, un Hanija un Mumforda mācīšanās stilu rekomendētās mācīšanas pieejas un aktivitātes. Dati tiek iegūti ar intervijas un verbālā protokola pētniecības metodēm. Rezultāti atklāj, ka pakalpojums ir efektīvs, jo studenti spēj izpildīt informācijpratības uzdevumus, kā arī nodarbību vadītāji tiek atbilstoši sagatavoti apmācību vadīšanai.

Master's thesis is about training service efficiency in the Library of the University of Latvia and the need of it for the study process. The problem is that the efficiency of this service has not been researched yet. Objectives are to find out does library organised training has a positive influence on student’s information literacy and use of electronic information resources. Metatheory is pragmatism and explains usefulness and practical meaning of the training. There are used Kirkpatrick’s four levels learning model and Honey and Mumford’s learning styles recommended teaching approaches and activities. The data is obtained from the interview and verbal protocol research methods. The results reveal that service is effective, because students are able to perform information literacy tasks and trainees are prepared to conduct training.
