Bēgļu diskurss Latvijas nacionālo laikrakstu interneta vietņu publikācijās un to lietotāju komentāros (2015. gada jūlijs - 2016. gada janvāris)

Abstract

Maģistra darba mērķis ir noskaidrot, kāds bēgļu diskurss atklājas Latvijas nacionālo laikrakstu interneta vietnēs, kā tiek veidotas diskursa tēmas un kādas ir to atšķirības. Pētījuma problēma ietver trīs aspektus: Latvijas sabiedrības negatīvās gaidas saistībā ar bēgļiem, atšķirīgās zināšanas par politiskajiem procesiem un amatpersonu vājā argumentācija un skaidrojumi par bēgļu uzņemšanas procesu Latvijā. Darba teorētiskā daļa ietver politiskās komunikācijas procesu, mediatizācijas aspektu, varas nozīmi mediju un politisko aktoru attiecībās, interneta mediju lomu, bēgļu problēmu Eiropas Savienībā un pētījumus par šo jomu. Metodoloģija sastāv no politiskā diskursa analīzes un kvantitatīvās kontentanalīzes. Pētījuma rezultāti liecina par atšķirīgi veidotiem diskursiem katrā medijā, kas izraisa atšķirīgas zināšanas mediju lietotāju vidū.

The goal of this master thesis is to find out, what kind of discourse of refugees appears in the online version of national newspapers, how the discourse themes are formed and what are the differences amongst them. The research problem contains three aspects: Latvian society’s negative expectations towards refugees, differing knowledge in regard of political processes and the weak argumentation and explanation of the officials in regards of refugee reception processes in Latvia. The theoretical part of the thesis consists of political communication process, theory about media and knowledge creation in online media, refugees in the European Union and researches connected with this problem. The political discourse analysis and quantitative contenanalysis show that, in fact, there are several discourses in each media, which causes different knowledge of online media users.
