Bakalaura darba „Remiksēšanas kultūra tiešsaistē: latviešu radītu mēmu Facebook lapu analīze” mērķis ir izpētīt latviešu radītu Facebook mēmu lapu saturu un auditorijas reakciju uz to. Darba pētnieciskais jautājums - vai mēmu saturs Facebook lapās Dainu skapis, Depresīvais latvietis un Esi kā Valdis ir saprotams un smieklīgs? Teorijā ir apkopota literatūra par internetu, remiksēšanas kultūru, interneta mēmiem un humoru tajos. Pētījumā izmantotās metodes ir kvalitatīvā un kvantitatīvā kontentanalīze, fokusgrupas diskusija un semiotiskā analīze. Bakalaura darba galvenais secinājums: latviešu radītie mēmi ir veidoti, balstoties uz mūsdienu jauniešu interesēm un leksiku, kas vecākiem cilvēkiem liedz pilnībā izprast teksta nozīmi un pasmieties par mēmu. The Bachelor thesis – Remix culture online: analysis of Latvian made Facebook pages of memes. The objective was to analyse the content of memes created by Latvians on the Facebook pages and the reaction of the audience to them. The research question: is the content of the memes on the Facebook page such as Dainu skapis, Depresīvais latvietis and Esi kā Valdis funny? The theoretical part - literature about Internet, remix culture, the memes and humour they contain. The research methods: content analyses, discussion of the focus groups and semiotics analysis. The major conclusion: the memes are made taking into consideration the interests and the lexicon of the youth generation and it is a minor problem for an older generation to understand the humour of the memes.
