Ķīmijas skolotāju izpratnes pilnveide par darba drošību darbā ar ķīmiskajām vielām skolā

Abstract

Maģistra darba mērķis ir izpētīt ķīmijas skolotāju izpratnes pilnveidošanas iespējas darbā ar ķīmiskajām vielām skolā. Pētījumā risinātā problēma ir ķīmijas skolotāju izpratnes pilnveidošana darbā ar ķīmiskajām vielām skolā, izmantojot tālākizglītības kursus. Maģistra darba pētījuma dizains ir gadījuma pētījums, kurā tika izmantotas empīriskās metodes (aptaujas un eksperta metode). Praktiskajā darba daļā veikts pētījums par situāciju dažādās Latvijas skolās, noteikts vai ir kādi faktori, kas ietekmē ķīmijas skolotāju izpratni par darba drošību darbā ar ķīmiskajiem reaģentiem. Darba ietvaros tika izstrādāta tālākizglītības kursu programmu ķīmijas skolotājiem, lai palīdzētu skolotājiem justies droši strādājot ar ķīmiskajām vielām skolā, kas tika sasniegts, analizējot zinātnisko literatūru par ķīmijas skolotāju profesionālo pilnveidi un normatīvos aktus, regulas un likumus, kas attiecas uz ķīmiskajiem reaģentiem, to uzglabāšanu, marķēšanu un utilizēšanu skolā, kā arī izveidojot tālākizglītības kursu programmu, kuru izvērtēja eksperti un pēc tam pilnveidota. Tālākizglītības kursu temati tika izvēlēti atbilstoši skolotāju novērtētajai tematu aktualitātei veiktajā anketēšanā. Izstrādāto tālākizglītības programmu izvērtēja eksperti atbilstoši izvirzītajiem ekspertu kritērijiem. Apkopojot ekspertu vērtējumus un rekomendācijas tika pilnveidota tālākizglītības kursu programma „Drošība darbā ar ķīmiskajām vielām skolā”. Analizējot iegūtos datus no skolotāju anketām un Rīgas Izglītības un informatīvi metodiskais centra pēdējo trīs gadu atskaites autore secināja, ka ķīmijas skolotājiem ir aktuāli tālākizglītības kursi. Pielikumā pievienots: Ķīmijas skolotāju anketa, skolotāju atbildes uz anketas atvērtajiem jautājumiem, izstrādātā kursu programma un ekspertu izvērtējuma kritēriji.

The aim of this Master’s thesis is to examine chemistry teacher’s understanding about working with chemicals at school. The problem that has been researched is the improvement of the teacher’s understanding, mentioned above, by participating in courses for further education. The design of the Master’s thesis is case study where the empiric methods, i.e. surveys and expert method, were used. In the practical part of the thesis, there has been made research on situation in various schools in Latvia, as well as defined if there are any factors influential for the teachers’ understanding of work’s safety while working with chemical reagents. During this work, there has been developed the programme of further education courses for teachers of chemistry in order to encourage the teachers to work and feel safe while working with chemicals at schools.The courses were created taking into account the analysis of scientific study literature about professional development of the teachers of chemistry, as well as laws and regulations that regards chemical reagents, their storage, marking and utilization at school, and analysing the expert suggestions on the improvement of this programme. The themes were chosen according to the topicality of provided themes to the teachers during the survey. The programme of further education that has been made was evaluated by experts according to the criteria set by the experts. After summarizing the assessment from the experts and given recommendations the programme of the further education “The safety in working with chemicals at school” was improved. After analysing the data taken from the surveys and the reports of last three years made by Education and Information Services of Riga City, the author has made a conclusion that the courses of further education are topical for chemistry teachers. The appendix contains: the survey for chemistry teachers, teachers’ responses to the open questions in the survey, the programme and the expert criteria of the evaluation of the programme.
