Ārvalstu tiešo investīciju un to ietekmējošo faktoru analīze Latvijā

Abstract

Ekonomiskās attīstības būtisks priekšnosacījums ir investīcijas, ilgtermiņā īpaši ārvalstu tiešās investīcijas. Maģistra darba mērķis ir, balstoties uz ārvalstu tiešo investīciju un to ietekmējošo faktoru analīzi, izstrādāt priekšlikumus ārvalstu tiešo investīciju piesaistei Latvijas ekonomikā. Maģistra darba pētījumā, pamatojoties uz teorētisko aspektu izpēti, ārvalstu tiešo investīciju analīzi dažādos griezumos, vektoru autoregresijas un vektoru kļūdu korekcijas modeļu rezultātiem, izmantojot ceturkšņa datus no 2000. līdz 2015.gadam, secināts, ka īstermiņā un ilgtermiņā uzkrātās ārvalstu tiešās investīcijas Latvijā pārliecinoši pozitīvi ietekmē iekšzemes kopprodukts un eksports, to apstiprina arī Grendžera cēlonības tests, savukārt ilgtermiņā inflācijas un kredītu procentu likmju pieaugums negatīvi ietekmē uzkrātās ārvalstu tiešās investīcijas. Maģistra darbs sastāv no 104 lapaspusēm (neiekļaujot pielikumus), 29 attēliem, 10 tabulām, 10 pielikumiem un 72 literatūras avotiem.

An essential precondition of economic development is investment, especially foreign direct investment in the long term. The aim of the Master thesis is, on the basis of analysis of foreign direct investment and its affecting factors, to develop suggestions for attracting foreign direct investment in the economy of Latvia. In the study of Master thesis, on the basis of the theoretical aspects, an analysis of foreign direct investment in different breakdowns, constructed vector autoregressive and vector error correction models using quarterly data from 2000 to 2015, it was concluded that gross domestic product and export have a strongly positive impact on the foreign direct investment stock in Latvia in the short and long term, it is confirmed by the Granger causality test, while growth of inflation and loan interest rates have a negative impact on the foreign direct investment stock in the long term. Master’s thesis consists of 104 pages (excluding attachments), 29 pictures, 10 tables, 10 attachments and 72 literature sources.
